Give Blogging Another Chance?

Oh, yes, we will!!

Things are so busy and exciting at our house these days - it would be a pity not to.

Bogdan has just turned 7.  He is such a big boy.  He has started 1st grade this year.  He is perfectly bi-lingual, he can read very well, he loves to play, loooooves computers and technology in general, likes to be around kids (especially younger kids).  For the past five weeks he's read a Psalm each Sunday morning in church - such a blessing!  A month ago he announced us he wanted to take Karate - he found a book about some kids who did karate and learned a lot of the lingo.  Unfortunately we couldn't get him into a class that  met our requirements (that the class start before 7 p.m.!!) and he will start tennis lessons soon.

Lara is also making huge strides - she started kindergarten.  (Every morning I am amazed at the confidence with which she is walking to school, greeting her teacher and classmates).  She has started ballet lessons this fall.  This is serious business:  we are practicing and stretching every morning and evening.  She still wants to do everything Bogdan does and things he is the coolest.  And she is counting the days until she turns 5.

They both LOVE books.  We are not starting our third Pippi Longstocking book and when we finish it we plan on starting the Chronicles of Narnia.

That's our little September update.  Should I make another promise it will not be another 15 months before my next post??
