So we're back to an old favorite. Bogdan asked me yesterday, "Mommy, what's a slave?" I gave him my best explanation, how a slave is not free to do what he wants to do, how the slave has to work for his or her master... and other details I thought would complete an accurate picture of a slave. Then Bogdan said in a determined voice: "You, Lara and Daddy will be my slaves. I will be the master. You have to do everything I tell you to do." (Yeah, am I glad I taught him!!) Then he declared: "You will have to build a very tall tower for me!" and, after a short break: "Come on, I will help you!" (he, he, he couldn't stay out of the fun being a slave too long!!)
