Great Progress

Both Lara and I have been making amazing progress in the last couple of weeks. I do school with my Mommy and I just do great job recognizing all the letters, and, more recently, even writing the letters. I can write my name, but also copy short words from one of my spelling games. I have also started to draw more successfully (other people can recognize what I drew!). Before, I would go to Mommy and Daddy with my drawing and say, excitedly: "LOOK!!!" And they would answer: "That is GREAT!! What is that?" And I would answer: a monster, a car, a snowman, Lara, whichever was the case...

Lara is doing better and better speaking. She can remember long words and use them in sencences?

I don't like this (oh, we hear that way too often).
This is too small (when she doesn't like the clothes we want her to wear)
I want cookie.
She can count from one to ten, but it's up to us to put the numbers in the right order. Also, she acts as if she can recognize a few letters: A, B, O...

Lots of things are happening in the Cooks' home, here, in Bucharest, Romania.
