Can YOU walk?!

There are quite a few things I forgot to mention a couple of days ago - like my fifth tooth. Mom says this one sneaked up on us. For a while I was having a hard time sleeping at night, so my parents kept checking for new teeth coming out. Well, eventually they stopped. Imagine their surprise one morning when we were playing and laughing out loud. Dad suddenly yelled, "He's got another tooth! And not just a little one! He must have had it for a while!" Ha, ha… That was kind of funny.

Something else I forgot to tell you all about is my walking. My parents finally bought me my first pair of shoes!! What can I say, it sure took them a while. It was 3 weeks ago, I had just turned one and working on walking around, and Nonel keept telling them, "You need to get him some shoes, you need to get him some shoes". So off we go to the Mall -- and I tried on about 6 or so different pairs of shoes. Not the most fun I've had. But we did end up buying not one pair but two. One for now and one for later, when my feet grow, so maybe next week or so.

Now I can walk, walk, walk!!! I still hang on to my parents hands, but walking sure is fun! I took a couple of steps by myself, walking from Mommy to Daddy and back (It was September 20, they say. My parents have this thing with writing dates all the time. Don't quite understand it.)
Last week we all went in a little park and played and walked and chased pigeons. That was a lot of fun. And we took a loooot of pictures.

It was also last week that I got SOME MORE birthday presents! So exciting!! My friends at UCC sent me the nicest card that "everybody" signed and some books (I looove books). Thank you so much. I just wish you knew how much you all mean to me. I cannot wait to be back in T-town. My sweet Granny Grey also sent me ANOTHER present - a great rainbow book and some great winter PJs. No, no, they are not just winter PJs. They are the coolest PJs you've ever seen. Thank you, Granny Grey.

Hope everyone has their birthdays (and weeks to follow) filled with as much joy as I had mine. (Just in case you don't, you can come over and we'll play with my toys and read my books).
God's blessings!
