Birthdays, Birthdays, Birthdays...
So very long since my last post. I am sorry, but thank you for your understanding. At this age, my schedule revolves around my parents' (they say theirs does around mine, so I am not quite sure about that).
Maaany things have happened since I last shared with you about things going on here - I don't even know where to begin. MY DADDY'S BIRTHDAY! I looooove my Daddy! I love you, Daddy! You are the best! I miss you when you are not around. I love playing with you, reading with you, walking with you... I love it when you come rock me in the middle of the night (I know, I will try to work on that), the food tastes better when you feed it to me. You are the coolest Daddy in the whole wide world!
My Daddy's birthday was on July 31, the day we left for camp, so we had a party when we got to the mountains. Mommy made the birthday cake - Perfectly Chocolate Chocolate Cake with Perfectly Chocolate Chocolate Icing. Everybody said it was really good. I wouldn't know. I had to stick to my chicken and vegetable puree. I know, life is not fair when you are a baby. And everybody went on and on about how they would have liked to be in my place. (that would usually when they saw me in my backpack on Daddy's shoulders!) What do they know! The truth is that I really love that backpack (thank you, Phil and Rebecca!!)
Then came Aunt Mandy's birthday - I love you, Aunt Mandy!! You are so sweet and I miss you when you are not around. I miss falling asleep in your arms, laughing and playing with you!
Next GREAT EVENT was my turning one year old!! Can you believe I am ONE??? I did not know it was going to be so much fun!! I got all this colorful cards that I just love (Mommy said she was going to save them for me), and a lot of cool toys and really neat clothes. I wish you could see them all. I think the best part is that I did not get them all on the same day, so it was like a month long celebration. My parents also organized a small party at a restaurant "right around the corner", so I celebrated the 16th surrounded by some of my family (my Romanian half) and friends. I had a lot of fun and I entertained everybody the best I could. I don't have very good pictures from the party, but I will post some soon.
Last but not least, Monday was Cousin Morgan's birthday. And that is not all: Sunday was also Cousin Morgan's BIRTHDAY. On Sunday she was born again, she put on Christ in baptism. My parents kept talking about her decision forever. I cannot say I know all that that entails, but everybody was so excited that it must be a VERY SPECIAL moment. I am so proud of her.
I love you all and thank God you are a part of my life. If I did not get to see you for my birthday, please know that I was sorry about that and cannot wait to see you!
Bogdan
