Why??

Bogdan just got to the "why" stage. It seems like he should have been there a while ago, so I actually thought we may have skipped the "why?"s. Was I ever so wrong!? He is constantly questioning everything we do. Mommy, are you washing dishes? Why? Mommy, what are you doing? Why? Mommy, are we going to the park? (and regardless of the answer) Why? Is Lara sleeping? Why? He knows all the letters and loves to recognize them in different contexts. He loooves to count, recognize numbers, etc. And he would read all day long if he could.

Lara is behind in learning to speak. I think that's because she likes to speak a lot and has a lot to say, so she would rather speak her own language that she masters than learn slowly a new one. She will now say the first syllable of a lot of words, like "boo" for book, "so" for socks, "bi-bis" for biscuiti, "pa" for park. She can also say things like "baby", "Papaw" (believe it or not, these are new words for her). She too loves to read. She is the first to wake up in the morning and she usually smacks us on the head with one of her little books until we start to read to her. (Yes, one of us gets her out of her crib first).

They are crazy about each other and the games/books/films are not as fun if the other one is not around. Wish you all could see them.
